Women series- MATERNITY LEAVE

Controversial usually infers topics of  contention.  Although the benefits of staying with your new baby as a mother or father isn't controversial! With an 18% decrease in depression over the life of the mother, increase in father involvement and decrease in breast/ ovarian cancer; how can we argue with should maternity leave exist.  More women who have access to paid leave experience loyalty to their company and increased wages.
