When I think of a town with no men I think the Amazon aka Wonder woman's hometown. Although within Kenya the oppression from female circumcision and arranged marriages have inspired women to turn from traditions and embrace a literal community of women. To think about it I actually see the value in reconnecting with your skills and talents away from the distraction and pressure of men. When I am around men my behavior does change, not all the time but I can see how there is a benefit to not being the smartest in a room full of men. Or there seems to be value in seeming understanding over blunt or attractive instead of not interested or determined. There may be a solution within the village of no men.
